The workshop aims to provide a medium of exchange for information about trends, research issues and practical experiences in the use of methods for the inclusion of explanations to several AI techniques (including CBR).

As a novelty this year we organize the first XCBR challenge https://isee4xai.com/xcbr_challenge_2022/  (submission deadline: 26th August 2022) with the objective of highlighting your expertise, skills and experience in applying Explainable AI (XAI) techniques to a “blackbox” AI model, so that the predictions of the model can be understood, improved or challenged by the users interacting with or impacted by the model.
